Brianna Ash

OWNER/DIRECTOR
Hi, I’m Brianna and welcome to Country Cottage Preschool! It is my goal to provide a secure, structured, loving, and nurturing learning environment to children and families in our community. It has been my dream to someday have a preschool no matter how big or small where our program families feel close knit and supported. I was born and raised in San Luis Obispo where I attended preschool through college. At a young age I fell in love working with children and decided it was the career path for me! I received my A.A. in Early Childhood Education at Cuesta College and my B.A. in Early Childhood Education at Brandman University. My husband and I live in Atascadero with our two little ones and our black lab, Moe! I love spending time with family, friends, going on walks, and going on trips! I am so very thankful for every family that walks through our doors and look forward to meeting you and your little one!

Teacher Kimberly

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Hi CCP Families! I’m Kimberly, originally from Santa Barbara and currently living in Lompoc. I have a house full of different animals. My fur babies are my everything. On my free time I love spending time with my fur babies, road trips, going to amusement parks, concerts, going to the beach and spending time with my family and friends. I’ve been working at this awesome school since 2018! I’ve been working with kiddos for 9 years. I’ve always loved the imagination all children have and how much love and kindness they have for everyone around them. I learn from them each day and they always teach me how to not sweat the small stuff. I’m looking forward to spending the next couple of your child’s years learning and growing alongside with your family!

Hi everyone, my name is Lisette Cervantes! I graduated from Allan Hancock College where I received my degree in Early Childhood Education. Going to the beach, hikes, church, being with my family/friends, and being outdoors is my favorite! One of the beautiful things in this world is seeing children explore, learn, and blossom into beautiful adults!

Hi, I’m Juliette! I recently graduated from Cal Poly with my degree in Sociology and minor in Child Development. I love working with children and helping guide their discoveries. I have worked as a preschool assistant teacher and personal nanny. These positions, as well as my education have helped me develop as an educator. It is my priority to create a safe and positive environment for children to explore and question the world around them. I am excited to continue learning and growing alongside your little ones!

Hi everyone! My name is Alea, and I am a third-year Liberal Studies major minoring in Child Development at Cal Poly. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, frequenting the beach, attending concerts, and planning activities with my friends. I've loved working with kids for as long as I can remember and have worked as a teacher assistant for the past two years. I am so excited to be back in the classroom and can't wait to learn from all the imaginative and intelligent little beings at Country Cottage Preschool!

Hi, I’m Gladys! I graduated from CSU Channel Islands with a Spanish major in 2022. That same year, I started working at Country Cottage Preschool to be able to be part of the education of little ones. Close to the end of the school year I took a few months off to welcome by own baby girl. I am super excited to be back in the classroom! In my free time I love to travel with my family, go to the beach, and go camping. I always love being able to help others achieve their goals and I’m happy to guide and help all the students at CCP!

I’m Kelly! I graduated Spring of 2020 with a concentration in visual and fine arts from a school in Sacramento. However, I recently moved to SLO because I fell in love with the atmosphere and the community. Being able to work with children is something I’ve always loved to do. I worked as an aftercare worker and moved to a teacher assistant at my old preschool back in my hometown. I am looking forward to helping the children grow and tap into their creative thinking through art. I love to fill my time with reading, writing, and art!

Hi, I'm Anna! I am currently a third year student at Cal Poly studying Business and minoring in Equine Science. I am originally from a small island outside of Seattle, Washington called Bainbridge Island. In my free time I love to hike, go to the beach, and hang out with friends! All throughout high school, I nannied and babysat, worked as a camp counselor at different camps for children, as well as taught horseback riding lessons to preschool and elementary aged children. I have always loved working with children, and I am super excited to be a part of the Country Cottage Preschool team and have the opportunity to learn from all the little ones!

Hi, I’m Melissa, a senior standing student at Cal Poly majoring in child development with a minor in public health. After school I’m hoping to pursue a career in nursing where I would work as a pediatric nurse. I would also love to continue teaching preschool as I love working with little ones. Some of my hobbies include being active and being a part of the Cal Poly track team. When working with little ones, I'm fueled by the joy of seeing them grow, learn, and discover their unique talents. It's incredibly rewarding to be a part of their journey and help them develop essential skills for a bright future!

Hello parents and families! My name is Bella, I’m a native to SLO County, and am a Child Development student at Cal Poly. I have such rich experience working with children in and out of classroom environments, as well as through extracurricular activities such as 4H! I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I started working at a lab preschool at my high school and was called “teacher” for the first time. I find each and every child so unique and special in all their talents and abilities, as well as personalities. I feel so excited and overjoyed to be in the classroom with young minds!

Hi CCP families! My name is Mae, I grew up in SLO and am currently in my 1st year, majoring in child development at Cuesta College. In my free time I love going to the beach, hanging out with friends, reading, and outdoor adventures. I love working with children and have been working with them for about 3 years now. My junior year of high school is when I realized I wanted to be teacher. I was in an observation class and the teacher I worked with let me teach some of her lessons, which I loved! I am so excited to grow in this field here at CCP and get to know everyone!

Hello, my name is Madison Seib! I am a junior at Cuesta College and I’m majoring in early childhood development. I love spending time with my family and my chihuahua Lady, I also love going to the beach! I love working with kids and watching them grow and learn!

Hi, I’m Ryhan! I’m from Northern California and am currently a second year student at Cal Poly majoring in Child Development. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, working out, and going to the beach! I have years of experience working with kids and love getting to watch and aid in their learning and growth. I am so excited to join the Country Cottage Preschool team and get to know everyone!

Hi everyone, I'm Siena! I'm originally from Los Angeles but I've lived all over California. My love of working with children really sparked when I worked at the on-campus preschool at Santa Clara University where I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology. Going forward, I'm taking courses at UC Santa Cruz to finish the Child Development Associate Teacher certificate. I'm very interested in the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children and absolutely love the conversations we get to have with kids. The curiosity and imagination throughout childhood is amazing! During my free time I enjoy reading, hiking and spending time with friends and family (including my chihuahuas). Overall, I'm so excited to get to know all of you as well as nurture and grow with your little ones at Country Cottage!
