CURRICULUM
We recognize that each child has unique talents, learning styles, interests, and personalities. Our teachers create intentional learning experiences that support each child's individual development while also fostering meaningful small-group and whole-group interactions. We provide a well-balanced daily schedule that includes teacher-guided experiences such as circle time, small-group activities, story time, and hands-on learning opportunities designed to support growth across all developmental domains. Throughout the day, children also participate in child-directed learning, where they are encouraged to explore, create, discover, and engage with both indoor and outdoor learning environments. During these experiences, our teaching team facilitates meaningful play, supports peer interactions, and extends learning through observation, questioning, and encouragement. We believe children learn best through active exploration and hands-on experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, and independence. A key component of our program is process art, which emphasizes creativity, self-expression, and the joy of creating rather than focusing on a predetermined outcome. Children are provided with a variety of open-ended materials and opportunities to experiment, problem-solve, and develop fine motor skills while expressing their unique ideas. Sensory exploration is woven throughout our curriculum and learning environments. Children engage with a variety of sensory experiences including water, sand, natural materials, sensory bins, textures, scents, sounds, and loose parts. Children engage their senses, build critical thinking skills, and strengthen their language. Our curriculum consistently focuses on preparing children for their next phase of education, whether that is transitioning to the next classroom, Transitional Kindergarten (TK), or Kindergarten. We value strong partnerships between home and school and believe that consistency and communication support each child’s success.
