CURRICULUM

We recognize that each child has unique talents, learning styles, and personalities. We lesson plan according to children’s individual needs, small group needs, and whole group needs. We provide a well-balanced daily schedule that provides teacher-directed moments which includes morning meeting, circle time, table activities, and story time.

Other parts of our day include child-directed moments where children have the opportunity to explore and engage in the indoor and outdoor environments. During child-directed moments, our team of teachers facilitate and foster appropriate play and peer interaction. Our curriculum consistently focuses on preparing children for their next phase of education whether this is moving up to the next classroom or entering Kindergarten. We value consistency between home and school environments for the benefit of each child and we keep parents informed about their child’s individual development and accomplishments.
